Nicole is back! After not releasing anything for more than a year and after being a judge on both the US and the UK X factor, Nicki is back to releasing good music. Her new single is titled Boomerang and the accompanying video was released a couple of days ago. Both the video and the song are nothing spectacular, yet they are pretty good. The video shows Nicole dancing and getting multiplied in order to give this video at least something interesting. When it comes to the song, it reminds me of her many failed attempts to make a popular feel good song (Nobody Can Change Me, Pretty). I like the song, but I don't think it will have much success anywhere outside UK. We'll see if I'm wrong when the single is released in March.
Nicole se vratila! Nakon sto nije izdala nijedan singl skoro godinu dana i nakon sto je bila sudija u Americkom, a i Britanskom izdanju X Factor-a, Nicole se vratila pevanju. Novi singl se zove Boomerang i video za pesmu je izasao pre nekoliko dana. Ni video ni pesma nisu nesto spektakularno, ali su sasvim dobri jer kad imas glas, a i telo kao Nicole, ne mozes da pogresis. U video klipu Nicole kao i uvek dosta igra, a kako bi video bio makar po necemu zanimljiv, kroz dobar deo videa, Nicole je multiplikovana. Sto se tice pesme, nazalost, ona me podseca naNicole-inemnoge ranije neuspele pokusaje da napravi hit feel-good pesmu (Nobody Can Change Me, Pretty). Iako mi se pesma dopada, ne verujem da ce van Velike Britanije imati neki uspeh. U martu cemo saznati da li gresim, jer ce tada singl biti i izdat.
I am utterly sorry that I haven't posted anything in the last 10 days, but I have been out of country, and I enjoyed France for some time. Svim citaocima bloga dugujem jedno izvinjenje. Prethodnih 10 dana nisam nista postavljao ovde jer sam bio van Srbije i nisam imao vremena da spavam, a kamoli da dolazim na blog i da pisem clanke. Ali, s obzirom da sam se vratio, od sutra mozete ocekivati da ce se sve vratiti u normalu. U toku ovog dana ocekujte clanke koji ce pokriti najzanimljivije novosti i pesme/video klipove koji su izasli dok nisam bio tu.
Kelly certainly likes suggestive songs. She gave us Motivation, she was Down For Whatever and she wanted us to Lay It On Her. Now she wants us to know which type of kisses please her the most. Everything from lyrics to the single cover suggest she needs some love in her bed. The song itself is pretty cool. It's a chill song that will be a club hit even if no remixes are made. It's one of those songs where you have to find somebody to grind with. Kisses Down Low will also serve as the second single from Kelly's new album Year Of The Woman. I'm not sure if the song will be a success on the charts, but a hot video might push it to be a potential hit.
Kelly je definitivno fan sugestivnih pesama. Njene prethodne pesme kao sto su Motivation, Down For Whatever i Lay It On Me su vise nego jasno naznacavali da je Kelly spremna za akciju. Stoga ni ne cudi sto njen najnoviji singl Kisses Down Low nosi bas taj naziv. Sve od teksta pesme pa do slike za singl nam daju do znanja sta je ovoj clanici Destiny's Child-a potrebno u krevetu. No, na stranu sa znacenjem pesma, pesma je sama po sebi jako dobra. Kul i poprilicno spor ritam pesme ce vas naterati da u klubu nadjete nekog uz koga cete se pripiti i igrati do jutra. Kisses Down Low je ujedno i drugi singl sa Kelly-nog novog albuma Year Of The Woman koji ce izaci u toku ove godine. Nisam siguran koliko ce uspeha imati pesma, ali bi dobar video sigurno pogurao pesmu u dobrom pravcu.
Yes, you read it right, Justin is back. JT is returning to what he does best and that's singing. Even though he is a decent actor and what not, I believe he is best at making good music. So after six years, JT has released new material, aka the song Suit & Tie. Now, I have to say I like the music he previously made, but I am just not buying this Jay-Z collaboration. The song ain't bad, but it definitely doesn't sound like some massive comeback single that you need after you have been MIA for so long. The tune sounds outdated, the beat is kinda boring, and the song as a whole sounds more like some b-side or maybe a promotional single. Definitely not a comeback single. Will this top charts? Hardly. Will it be a successful single? Modestly. Is Jay-Z really needed here? Nope. So, what do you think? Is the single fire or do you think JT needs more time to get it right? P.S. Maybe Justin rushed with this single a bit because of the reveal of new Myspace?
Timberlake se vratio! Nakon sto ga sest godina nije bilo u muzickom svetu, Justin je odlucio da je vreme za povratak na scenu. Pesma koja ce mu posluziti kao kambek singl je Suit & Tie koja je uradjena u kolaboraciji sa Jay-Z-em. Iako su mi prethodne Justin-ove pesme bile dobre, ova mi definitivno ne zvuci kao bilo koji od njegovih prethodnih hitova. To naravno ne znaci uvek da je pesma losa, ali u ovom slucaju znaci bas to. Ritam pesme je dosadan, Jay-Z-ev deo je relativno nebitan u pesmi i sve kao celina ne zvuci kao nesto sto bi trebalo da najavi povratak Justin-a na scenu. Moje misljenje je da pesma nece biti neki hit, ali i da je moguce da ce uskoro Justin-ov menadzment reci da je ovo samo buzz single kako bi zainteresovali ljude za Justin-ov sledeci album. Ili je pesma tu samo kako bi sto vise doprinela tome da se prica o novom Myspace-u koji je danas lansiran? Preslusajte pesmu, pa i sami prosudite.
One of the biggest and most successful girl bands has reunited after an eight year break. Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle confirmed they are releasing a new compilation album Love Songs and with it comes a new single Nuclear. While the name of the single sounds like it will be some explosive up-tempo song, the song is actually a ballad with a serious 90's feel to it. They say it is a brand new track, but in my opinion it is just some leftover track from one of their previous albums. Either way, the song is pretty smooth and it is the right one to chill to after a long day. With the news of the album and the song came news that Destiny's Child will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It is unknown if they will release any real new album soon. Jedna od najuspesnijih devojackih grupa se ponovo okupila nakon osam godina pauze. Beyonce, Kelly i Michelle su potvrdile vest da krajem januara izdaju kompilaciju svojih najvecih ljubavnih pesama pod imenom Love Songs. Na ovoj kompilaciji ce se naci i pesma koju fanovi ranije nisu imali prilike da cuju, Nuclear. Iako ime pesme asocira na brz ritam, pesma je balada, pa se zbog toga i nalazi upravo na ovoj kompilaciji. Po mom misljenju, pesma je verovatno jedna od onih koje ranije nisu bile dovoljno dobre za album, pa je sada izbacuju cisto kako bi fanovi imali osecaj da su se devojke stvarno vratile. Nuclear ima prizvuk 90ih, ali to nikako nije losa stvar. Pesma je sta vise odlicna za opustanje. Pored ovih vesti, Destiny's Child su potvrdile i da ce nastupati na pauzi izmedju poluvremena na Super Bowl utakmici. Jos se ne zna da li ce u skorije vreme izdati neki album sa svim novim pesmama.
So it looks like we got another new video being released today, and it is for Ke$ha's second Warrior single, C'mon. The electropop song got a much lighter video then the previously released Die Young. As you remember, Die Young video was all about Ke$ha being a cult princess, while in this video she is a kitty loving hippie. Ke$ha can be seen driving the strangest van ever, chilling in a bath tub and partying with people in animal costumes. The video as a whole doesn't make much sense, but hey neither does most of Ke$ha's videos. I have to state that C'mon is not a bad song, but I don't see it becoming a huge hit. I am hoping she will release her Iggy Pop assisted song Dirty Love, just to show that she has another side to her.
Nakon the Saturdays i Ke$ha je odlucila da izda novi video danas. Drugi singl sa njenog albuma Warrior je pesma C'mon i upravo za ovu pesmu je i objavljen video. Nakon sto je u klipu za pesmu Die Young bila princeza kulta slicnog Iluminatima, u ovom videu je hipik koji voli macke. Pored toga, Ke$ha u ovom klipu uziva u djakuziju i luduje sa ljudima obucenim u kostime zivotinja. Klip kao celina nema neki smisao, ali zar to nije ono sto odlikuje vecinu Ke$ha-inih klipova? Ja cu samo reci da se nadam da ce neki od sledecih singlova biti Dirty Love (pesma napravljena u saradnji sa Iggy Pop-om) jer su mi svi Ke$ha-ini dosadasnji singlovi postali dosadno isti.
The Saturdays have finally made a video for their latest single (first single ever in the US), titled What About Us. While the UK version of the song has Sean Paul on it, the US version features only the girls. And while I am a big fan of their previous work, I am not so sure about this one. The song is ok, but it is nowhere near the brilliant All Fired Up or many of their previous hits. Since they are making a debut in the US this year, I think they should have released something from their previous album rather then this overly auto-tuned piece. And just like the song, the clip for it is nothing spectacular. It's main purpose is probably to show they have made it to US, thus the video was shot in L.A. It shows the girls at a pool, playing pool and dancing on a football field. So American, right? I am hoping their reality show on E!, Chasing the Saturdays, will give them the push they need to succeed in US, because they definitely deserve to be known worldwide. Iako sam fan grupe, pesma, kao i klip koji ide uz nju nisu ostavili neki utisak na mene. Pesma je previse autotjunovana, te se ne mogu istaci snazni vokali koje poseduju clanice grupe. Video klip je snimljen u Los Andjelesu i u njemu nema bilo sta sto bi Saturdays izdvojilo od mnogih drugih bendova koji su pokusali da se probiju na americko trziste. Mislim da je bilo pametnije da su za prvi americki singl uzele neki od singlova koji su im doneli popularnost u Britaniji, kao npr. All Fired Up ili Notorious. U svakom slucaju, video je tu, pesma se vec vrti na radiu, a 20 januara ce Amerika imati priliku da upozna Saturdays zahvaljujuci rijalitiju koji krece na E! televiziji. Nadam se da ce im rijaliti pomoci da zadobiju nove americke fanove i da se probiju na Billboard listu.
Cascada, the German dance act best known for party anthems Everytime We Touch and Evacuate The Dancefloor, are hoping to represent Germany in this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo. They will compete with 11 other acts on February 14. hoping to get the most votes from German audience, the jury and the Internet community. They will compete with the song Glorious and the song had it official premiere yesterday. It is nothing spectacular, but it also isn't that bad. If you liked previous Cascada material, especially from their last album Original Me, then this song is for you. I haven't heard the other songs, but I would guess Cascada have a decent chance to be chosen as the German act for Malmo. Cascada, koja je poznata publici sirom sveta zbog pesama Everytime We Touch i Evacuate The Dancefloor, se nada da ce biti nemacki predstavnik na Evroviziji ove godine. Bend se prijavio da se bori sa 11 drugih izvodjaca, nadajuci se da ce 14. februara bas oni biti izabrani. Pobednik ce biti izabran tako sto ce trecinu glasova ciniti glasovi putem sms-a, trecinu cini ziri, a trecinu internet glasaci. Cascada ce nastupati sa pesmom Glorious, a pesma je premijerno pustena juce na nemackom radiu. Pesma nastavlja tradiciju solidnih dens pesama kakve smo i navikli da cujemo od benda. Iako nisam cuo ostatak pesama koje se bore za Malmo, siguran sam da Cascada ima dobre sanse da bude pobednik.
Even though the song "Not A Saint" has had a video since late November, it was released this week in the UK, and I can't believe I haven't heard about this banger before. Vato, who is known for his dirty house tracks, and Lethal Bizzle, one of UK's best grime artists, come together to make one of the best dance tracks I have heard in recent months. It is a perfect mix of headbanging beats and Lethal's rapping that make this song stand out from your everyday dance tracks. I can definitely see this track being a big hit in the clubs. The video just shows you what kind of atmosphere you can expect on the dance floor when this song starts. Iako pesma "Not A Saint" ima video vec neko vreme, singl je izdat u Velikoj Britaniji ove nedelje i tako sam i ja nabasao na nju. Poznati dirty house DJ Vato Gonzalez i Lethal Bizzle su napravili jednu od definitivno najboljih dens pesama koje sam skorije cuo. Pesma ima dovoljno dirty house detalja i Lethal-ovog repovanja da bi ovu pesmu izdvojila od ostalih dens pesama koje mozemo cuti na radiu svaki dan. Siguran sam da ce ova pesma biti veliki hit u klubovima, ako ne kod nas, onda makar kod Britanaca. Video docarava atmosferu koju mozete ocekivati u klubu kada DJ pusti ovu pesmu.
Eve is officially back! The singer who has been missing in action since 2007 (when she released "Give it to you" with Sean Paul) is back with a new song that was accompanied with a video today. "She Bad Bad" shows that Eve still has that fire and that she is ready to give the female rappers of today a run for their money. The song is mixing Eve's rapping with some cool electronic beats and the final result is something that has been missing on radio for some time now. The video is slick and Eve, who turned 34 two months ago, is still pretty hot. "She Bad Bad" will be on the singer's 2013 album "Lip Lock" expected to hit the stores in April. Yup, you read it right! We've known for some time that the original line-up of Sugababes (now known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan - MKS) is back in studio and working on some new material but now after so many teases we finally get to hear something. The girls have posted an acapella performance of their new song "Boys". It is still uncertain if the song will serve as their comeback single, but one thing's clear, the song is absolutely what you would expect from them. Amazing vocals and harmonies, cool lyrics, even without any music in the background, the song is as good as it gets. I am definitely looking forward to hearing more music from MKS and seeing if they will be better then the current line-up of Sugababes.
Originalni sastav britanske grupe Sugababes se vraca pod novim imenom Mutya Keisha Siobhan (MKS). O tome se suska vec neko vreme i samo se cekao trenutak kada ce se cuti i neki novi materijal. Taj trenutak je dosao! Pesma "Boys" je postavljena na YouTube, i to na kanal jedne od clanica. Iako pesma nije okacena u celini i iako je u pitanju akapela izvodjenje pesme, vec se vidi da devojke definitivno idu u dobrom pravcu. Sjajni vokali, odlicna harmonija njihovih glasova i dobar tekst su ono sto ce zasigurno izdvojiti ovu pesmu. Nepoznato je da li ce ovo biti prvi singl sa albuma koji ce izdati u toku godine ili je pesma okacena samo kako bi fanovi znali sta da ocekuju. U svakom slucaju, siguran sam da su fanovi zahvalni i na ovome sto su dobili. Naravno, ono sto ce mnoge zanimati je da li ce MKS biti uspesnije od trenutne postave grupe Sugababes. Sa ovakvom pesmom mislim da imaju dobre sanse.
Party-rockers, aka LMFAO, have officially been on hiatus since September 2012. Redfoo and Skyblu felt like they are going in two different directions when it comes to music so they figured the best thing for them would be to take some time apart and make solo music. But even as solo artists, you can see they have something in common (other then having the same last name). They both have new songs out and both songs have bottle in the title. Coincidence? Maybe. Both songs sound like solid party tracks and it wouldn't come as a surprise if I hear either of them in some club soon. But, the question is which one do you like more? Clanovi grupe, Redfoo i Skyblu su odlucili da je doslo vreme da naprave pauzu s obzirom da zele da eksperimentisu sa razlicitim zanrovima muzike. U prethodnih par dana su obojica izdali nove pesme i iako vise nisu zajedno kao grupa vidi se da dele nesto vise od istog prezimena. Naime, i u jednoj i u drugoj pesmi se spominju flase (bottles), obe pesme su prave parti pesme i ne zvuce mnogo drugacije od pesama koje smo ranije culi od LMFAO-a. Naravno, pitanje koje ce sada svi postavljati je: cija pesma je bolja? Poslusajte obe pesme, pa odlucite sami.
Hurts, the band behind hits like Wonderful Life and Stay are making a comeback this year with a new single which will be followed by a new album. The new album is called Exile, and we got a first taste of it with a teaser video back in December. The video, in some parts reminded me of American Horror Story: Asylum, so I didn't know what to expect. Then, on December 21st, they released an audio of the song The Road, which is definitely a Depeche Mode influenced song. The band said that we could expect a bit of a darker album, so this song really fits that profile. But, The Road was just a promotional song. Two days ago, we finally got a lead single, titled Miracle, and I got a say, it's amazing. The beginning of the song sounds like Coldplay, but the rest of the song is 100% Hurts. The single will be officially released on March, 10. Theo and Adam also promised to tease us with some new songs on their concerts in February. If they continue the way they started, they might just get that UK No.1 single. Listen to the song Miracle below, and give me your opinion. Klip koji najavljuje album je stavljen na njihov zvanicni YouTube profil sredinom decembra i posto su me delovi klipa podsecali na odsecke serije American Horror Story: Ludnica, nisam znao sta da ocekujem od njih. Nedelju dana nakon izlaska tog videa su okacili audio klip za pesmu The Road, pesmu koja po mnogo cemu podseca na dobro poznati zvuk Depeche Mode-a. S obzirom da je bend rekao da ce na novom albumu biti mracnije pesme, The Road je definitivno bio korak u tom pravcu. Medjutim, glavni singl sa novog albuma je predstavljen tek prekjuce, i ime singla je Miracle. Pocetak pesme zvuci malo kao Coldplay, ali je ostatak pesme pravi synthpop kakav se i ocekuje od Hurts-a. Singl ce biti objavljen u Velikoj Britaniji 10. marta, a do tada nam je obecano da cemo cuti jos par novih pesama na nastupima koje Hurts ima zakazane za februar. Po mom misljenju ako nastave pravcem kojim su krenuli, sasvim je sigurno da ce uskoro moci da se pohvale sa singlom koji je bio na vrhu liste Britanskih singlova. Poslusajte Miracle i dajte svoje misljenje.
Since it is a slow start of the year when it comes with music news and new music, I thought the best way to start the year is to make a recapitulation of the last years biggest hits (in my opinion, of course).
Posto je malo sporiji pocetak godine kada su u pitanju muzicke vesti i nova muzika, mislim da je najbolje da krenemo ovu godinu (a i ovaj blog) sa rekapitulacijom najvecih proslogodisnjih hitova (naravno, najvecih hitova po mom misljenju).
15. Jay-Z and Kanye West Ft. Frank Ocean and The Dream - No Church In The Wild
What can I say? The dream team has gathered to make one of the coolest and smoothest hip hop songs of the year. It also doesn't hurt that the lyrics are amazingly well written. It didn't make quite an impact on the charts, but it did in my music collection.
Sta reci? Drim tim se okupio da napravi jednu od najboljih hip hop pesama godine. Sjajan tekst nije na odmet. Iako pesma nije bila previse uspesna na muzickim listama, na mene je ostavila jak utisak.
14. Mike Candys- Fly So High Swiss DJ Mike Candys made one of the songs that marked my summer. You can just imagine yourself cruising in a car on a road near the beach, and this song is blaring from your speakers. Pesma Fly So High Svajcarskog DJ-a Mike Candys-a je definitivno obelezila moje leto 2012. godine. Samo zamislite sebe u kolima kako idete putem pored plaze, a ova pesma na radiu. Raj!
13. Ferry Corsten Ft. Ben Hague - Ain't No Stoppin' Killer dance track. Ferry really outdid himself with this one. The song was released in February and it is still on my every day playlist. Odlicna dens numera. Ferry, kojeg gotivim i ciji rad pratim vec nekoliko godina, je napravio jednu od najboljih dens pesama 2012. godine. Iako je pesma izdata u februaru i dalje je slusam svaki dan.
12. Adele - Skyfall To be honest, not a huge fan of Adele. Yes, she has an amazing voice, and yes her songs have meaning, but still her songs are in my opinion just too much for teenage brokenhearted girls. And then she made the theme song for the new Bond movie and I was blown away. You see from a mile that it is a Bond song, but she gave it that something that made it one of the best Bond songs ever. Iskreno nisam neki fan Adele. Iako ima odlican glas i pesme koje imaju znacenje, njene pesme su mi isuvise za ucveljene tinejdzerke. Ali, pesmi Skyfall se mora odati priznanje. Na prvo slusanje se vidi da je u pitanju klasicna Bond pesma, ali joj je Adele dala ono nesto sto je izdvaja od klasicnih Bond pesama. Definitivno jedna od boljih pesama iz filmova o poznatom agentu.
11. Rihanna - Diamonds Rihanna can be quite boring with releasing a new album every year, but she does try to reinvent herself every time, and this time she did a nice job with it. Even though she sounds a bit like Sia (who wrote the song), I can't find many flaws to the song. Za Rihanna-u se moze reci da je dosadna kad izdaje svake godine po album, ali ipak sa svakim albumom pokusava da uradi nesto novo, i ovog puta je definitivno uspela. Iako joj glas vuce na Sia-in (a Sia je napisala pesmu), ova pesma je poprilicno bez mana.
10. Nicki Minaj - Starships With Nicki being a rapper, and a pretty good one, I have to say I was at first disappointed when I saw this track has absolutely nothing to do with rap. But then I embraced this amazing dance track with one of the weirdest sounding breaks ever. Posto je Nicki reperka, i to dobra reperka, na prvo slusanje pesme mi je bilo zao sto Starships nema nikakve veze sa repom. Medjutim, ubrzo sam zgotivio ovu sjajnu dens numeru. Samo se nadam da ce Nicki ipak ostati verna sebi i svom prvom-ne toliko dens albumu.
9. Linkin Park - Burn It Down Linkin Park at their best. This electronic rock song is just out of this world good. Chester's amazing vocals + Mike's rap break + mindblowing music = one of the defining songs of the year. Linkin Park u svom punom sjaju. Cester-ov neverovatan vokal + Mike-ovo odlicno repovanje + sjajna muzika daju jednu od pesama koje su zasigurno obelezile godinu koja je za nama.
8. Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven Remember I said I disliked Adele? Well I disliked Bruno even more. There's just something about him I really hated. So imagine my surprise when I listened to this song on the radio and said I liked it. In time like turned to love, and that's why the song occupies the 8th spot. Secate se kako rekoh da nisam gotivio Adele? E, pa Bruno-a sam jos manje gotivio. Jednostavno ima nesto kod njega sto mi se nije dopadalo. I onda mozete zamisliti moj sok kad sam cuo pesmu na radiu, rekao da mi se svidja i saznao da je njegova. Vremenom mi se pesma sve vise svidjala i zato je ona i na osmom mestu.
7. Calvin Harris Ft. Ne-Yo - Let's Go One of the ultimate club tracks, workout tracks, having-a-good-time tracks. 2012 was the year of Calvin, and this song proves it! Pesma koja moze da se slusa u klubu, u teretani, bilo kad, bilo gde. Jedna od onih pesama koja nam daje energiju. Prethodna godina je bila u znaku Calvin-a i ova pesma je samo jos jedan dokaz toga.
6. David Guetta Ft. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On Even though Guetta had changed a lot since he first appeared, he still know how to make sick music. The song is classis Europop, but with Guetta's twist. Nicki's autotuned voice really fits the song. Iako se Guetta dosta promenio od kad je izdao svoje prve hitove i dalje zna da napravi dobru pesmu koju ce radio stanice pustati do iznemoglosti. Ovo je klasicna Europop pesma sa Guetta-inim pecatom. Iako je Nicki kritikovana zbog toga sto joj je glas ovde isuvise autotjunovan, ja mislim da to bas pristaje pesmi.
5. The Veronicas - Lolita After four years of waiting for something new, The Veronicas' fans were delighted to hear they are finally making a comeback. And then they were disappointed with Lolita. I have to admit, the song isn't really similar to their previous hits like Hook Me Up or Untouched, but it does have their signature singing style and even with the unnecessary use of dubstep, I enjoyed the song. Nakon cetiri godine iscekivanja, fanovi grupe The Veronicas su bili ushiceni kad su culi da devojke planiraju kambek. I onda cu ih docekali na noz kad su culi pesmu Lolita. Iako pesma nije po mnogo cemu slicna njihovim hitovima Hook Me Up i Untouched, ipak ima njihov prepoznatljiv stil pevanja. U citavoj pesmi im mozda nije trebao dubstep, ali sam isuvise srecan sto su izdale nesto novo da bih se na to zalio.
4. Alex Clare - Too Close Speaking of dubstep... Alex Clare's song (which became a hit after it was used in Internet Explorer's commercial) has it. And just the right amount of it. I think it is just the dubstep part that made this song stand out, not just in my eyes, but the eyes of the other fans of the song. Kad smo vec kod dubstepa, pesma Too Close ga ima i to u pravoj kolicini. Odlicno upotrebljen dubstep deo u refrenu je izdvojio ovu pesmu u ocima mnogih fanova. P.S. Pesma je inace postala hit, nakon sto je upotrebljena u reklami za Internet Explorer. Napokon nesto dobro da dodje i od njega.
3. Girls Aloud - Something New Another comeback that I have been awaiting was from these girls. The girls with the most UK top 10 singles have been missing in action for some time, and everybody expected their comeback single to be the biggest one of the 2012. And just like with The Veronicas, the fans were underwhelmed with the outcome. Still it gave them another UK top 10 single, and a spot on my list. Jos jedan kambek koji se cekao godinama. Devojke koje su usle u Ginisovu knjigu rekorda kao grupa sa najvise uzastopnih top 10 singlova u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu su se vratile sa novim singlom koji je bio poklon fanovima za desetogodisnjicu postojanja grupe. Iako su svi ocekivali da ce pesma pokidati na listama, dospele su tek na drugo mesto u UK i na 3 mesto moje godisnje liste.
2. Cheryl - Call My Name This member of the Girls Aloud had much succes on her own. Having a few top 10 singles and two number one albums, Cheryl made a name for herself. This song was made in colaboration with Calvin Harris, so no wonder it is one of those songs you can't get out of your head. Cheryl, koja je clanica grupe Girls Aloud, je stvarno imala uspesnu solo karijeru. Nekoliko top 10 singlova i dva albuma koja su bila na prvom mestu u UK su dokazali svima da Cheryl ima dosta fanova cak i kad nije u grupi. Pesma Call My Name je radjena u kolaboraciji sa Calvin-om, te nije ni cudo sto je jedna od onih pesama koja ne izlazi iz glave.
1. PSY - Gangnam Style No surprise here. You can't talk about 2012 in music and not mention this guy and his horse riding video. PSY, the owner of YouTube's most watched and most liked video ever, had the world in the palm of his hand last year. Doesn't matter if you love him or hate him, the song was everywhere, everyone danced the Gangnam dance, and you gotta admit the song is full of positive energy. You don't have to understand the lyrics to like this song. Nemoguce je pricati o muzici 2012. a ne spomenuti PSY-a. Koreanac, koji je vlasnik najgledanijeg i najlajkovanijeg videa YouTube-a ikada je pokorio svet sa svojom pesmom. Iako 99% ljudi ne zna tekst, a 98% znacenje pesme, svi su igrali cudni kaubojski ples iz videa. Pesma budi neku pozitivnu energiju u meni, ne moras razumeti tekst pesme da bi je voleo, tera te da igras... To su samo neki od razloga zasto je pesma meni gotivna i zasto je zasluzeno na prvom mestu moje liste.
