Jay Z and Beyonce join forces again

More than ten years after the famous Bonnie & Clyde track, Jay Z and Beyonce have made a follow-up song. And it's pretty good.

Beyonce's Rise Up is finally here in HQ

Beyonce's song from the animated movie Epic, Rise Up has leaked online quite some time ago. But, I refused to listen to the song until it was released in HQ. And now that the moment is here, I have to say I am a bit sorry I didn't listen to the song before because it is quite beautiful. I'm not sure what I expected from the song, but I am absolutely mesmerized by it. It's powerful chorus, inspiring lyrics and Beyonce's amazing vocals are what make this song worth listening to over and over again. Don't know why, but the song even made me want to watch the movie. If the movie is as good as the song, I am sure it's worth watching.

Beyonce owns The-Dream's new song

The-Dream is releasing his latest album IV Play in less than a week, so that means it's time to give the fans the taste of the album. All of the songs can be found on The-Dream's VEVO Youtube page. And while I still have to listen to all of the other songs, the Beyonce and 2 Chainz collaboration is something that caught my attention instantly. After listening to Turnt for a couple of times, I gotta admit it is amazing. The sexy beat, Beyonce's voice, the rapping, it all adds up to make a hot summer jam, something the girls will be bouncing their booty to. I can see the clubs spinning this song like crazy. And while it is The-Dream's song, I think the song will probably be popular mostly because of Beyonce, and I already see most people think it's a new Bey song. But that doesn't matter that much, what matters is the song will hopefully make people want to listen to, and buy the entire album.

Andre 3000's and Beyonce's version of Back To Black isn't so bad

It's finally here. Ever since it was announced that Beyonce and Andre 3000 would cover Amy Winehouse's hit Back To Black, everyone was eager to hear how that would turn out. A snippet was made available a couple of days ago, and the critics weren't blown away. Now that the full song is here, they are still underwhelmed. The few reviews I have read have really bashed the song. So, I expected the song to be bad. But after hearing it for the first time, I have to say it actually isn't. It's pretty good to be honest. Yes, it is not as good as the original, but in its own way this version is nice. I really like the slow and smooth beat and Beyonce's sexy voice. Even Andre, who I don't like very much, is good here. It will take me a few more spins to give my final opinion, but for now, I really think this cover was done nicely.

Beyonce wants you to bow down

She is back! Even though she never left. Beyonce released teasers for her two buzz singles Bow Down and I Been On. And after hearing them, I think it might have been better she took some time off. While Beyonce still has some of the most powerful vocals I've heard these songs are a step in the wrong direction if you ask me. Bow Down sounds more like a song for Nicki Minaj, while I Been On is... I don't know, just bad. If you listen to some of Beyonce's previous work, and then this, you will think: what happened to her?! And that's what I am thinking right now. The songs aren't disastrous, but I don't think it is what Beyonce needs to get back on top of the charts.

Vratila se! Iako je sve vreme bila tu. Beyonce je objavila tizere za dve pesme koje bi trebalo da oznace njen "povratak na scenu". U pitanju su Bow Down i I Been On. Nakon sto sam ih prvi put odslusao, mislim da bi Beyonce trebala da napravi pauzu. I to pravu pauzu, ne pauzu gde i dalje ima nastupe, dokumentarce i sta sve ne. Iako ima mocan vokal, ove pesme su korak u pogresnom pravcu. Bow Down zvuci kao pesma koja je za Nicki Minaj, dok je I Been On jednostavno losa. Ako se poslusaju pesme, odnosno, hitovi koje je Beyonce pre imala i ove nove pesme, covek se lako moze zapitati sta se desilo sa njom. I to je ono sto i mene zanima. Pesme nisu ocajne, ali nisu ni ono sto joj je potrebno da bi se vratila na vrhove top lista.

Destiny's Child reunite, new single out

One of the biggest and most successful girl bands has reunited after an eight year break. Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle confirmed they are releasing a new compilation album Love Songs and with it comes a new single Nuclear. While the name of the single sounds like it will be some explosive up-tempo song, the song is actually a ballad with a serious 90's feel to it. They say it is a brand new track, but in my opinion it is just some leftover track from one of their previous albums. Either way, the song is pretty smooth and it is the right one to chill to after a long day. With the news of the album and the song came news that Destiny's Child will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It is unknown if they will release any real new album soon.

Jedna od najuspesnijih devojackih grupa se ponovo okupila nakon osam godina pauze. Beyonce, Kelly i Michelle su potvrdile vest da krajem januara izdaju kompilaciju svojih najvecih ljubavnih pesama pod imenom Love Songs. Na ovoj kompilaciji ce se naci i pesma koju fanovi ranije nisu imali prilike da cuju, Nuclear. Iako ime pesme asocira na brz ritam, pesma je balada, pa se zbog toga i nalazi upravo na ovoj kompilaciji. Po mom misljenju, pesma je verovatno jedna od onih koje ranije nisu bile dovoljno dobre za album, pa je sada izbacuju cisto kako bi fanovi imali osecaj da su se devojke stvarno vratile. Nuclear ima prizvuk 90ih, ali to nikako nije losa stvar. Pesma je sta vise odlicna za opustanje. Pored ovih vesti, Destiny's Child su potvrdile i da ce nastupati na pauzi izmedju poluvremena na Super Bowl utakmici. Jos se ne zna da li ce u skorije vreme izdati neki album sa svim novim pesmama.
