Nicole gets multiplied in new video

Nicole is back! After not releasing anything for more than a year and after being a judge on both the US and the UK X factor, Nicki is back to releasing good music. Her new single is titled Boomerang and the accompanying video was released a couple of days ago. Both the video and the song are nothing spectacular, yet they are pretty good. The video shows Nicole dancing and getting multiplied in order to give this video at least something interesting. When it comes to the song, it reminds me of her many failed attempts to make a popular feel good song (Nobody Can Change Me, Pretty). I like the song, but I don't think it will have much success anywhere outside UK. We'll see if I'm wrong when the single is released in March.

 Nicole se vratila! Nakon sto nije izdala nijedan singl skoro godinu dana i nakon sto je bila sudija u Americkom, a i Britanskom izdanju X Factor-a, Nicole se vratila pevanju. Novi singl se zove Boomerang i video za pesmu je izasao pre nekoliko dana. Ni video ni pesma nisu nesto spektakularno, ali su sasvim dobri jer kad imas glas, a i telo kao Nicole, ne mozes da pogresis. U video klipu Nicole kao i uvek dosta igra, a kako bi video bio makar po necemu zanimljiv, kroz dobar deo videa, Nicole je multiplikovana. Sto se tice pesme, nazalost, ona me podseca na Nicole-ine mnoge ranije neuspele pokusaje da napravi hit feel-good pesmu (Nobody Can Change Me, Pretty). Iako mi se pesma dopada, ne verujem da ce van Velike Britanije imati neki uspeh. U martu cemo saznati da li gresim, jer ce tada singl biti i izdat.

Nothing to worry about, I am back

I am utterly sorry that I haven't posted anything in the last 10 days, but I have been out of country, and I enjoyed France for some time. That of course means I haven't had the time to sleep, let alone post something here. But now I am back and you can expect regular posts starting tomorrow. Today, I will post some catch-up posts.

Svim citaocima bloga dugujem jedno izvinjenje. Prethodnih 10 dana nisam nista postavljao ovde jer sam bio van Srbije i nisam imao vremena da spavam, a kamoli da dolazim na blog i da pisem clanke. Ali, s obzirom da sam se vratio, od sutra mozete ocekivati da ce se sve vratiti u normalu. U toku ovog dana ocekujte clanke koji ce pokriti najzanimljivije novosti i pesme/video klipove koji su izasli dok nisam bio tu.

Kelly Rowland likes her Kisses Down Low

Kelly certainly likes suggestive songs. She gave us Motivation, she was Down For Whatever and she wanted us to Lay It On Her. Now she wants us to know which type of kisses please her the most. Everything from lyrics to the single cover suggest she needs some love in her bed. The song itself is pretty cool. It's a chill song that will be a club hit even if no remixes are made. It's one of those songs where you have to find somebody to grind with. Kisses Down Low will also serve as the second single from Kelly's new album Year Of The Woman. I'm not sure if the song will be a success on the charts, but a hot video might push it to be a potential hit.

Kelly je definitivno fan sugestivnih pesama. Njene prethodne pesme kao sto su Motivation, Down For Whatever i Lay It On Me su vise nego jasno naznacavali da je Kelly spremna za akciju. Stoga ni ne cudi sto njen najnoviji singl Kisses Down Low nosi bas taj naziv. Sve od teksta pesme pa do slike za singl nam daju do znanja sta je ovoj clanici Destiny's Child-a potrebno u krevetu. No, na stranu sa znacenjem pesma, pesma je sama po sebi jako dobra. Kul i poprilicno spor ritam pesme ce vas naterati da u klubu nadjete nekog uz koga cete se pripiti i igrati do jutra. Kisses Down Low je ujedno i drugi singl sa Kelly-nog novog albuma Year Of The Woman koji ce izaci u toku ove godine. Nisam siguran koliko ce uspeha imati pesma, ali bi dobar video sigurno pogurao pesmu u dobrom pravcu.

Justin puts on a Suit & Tie and prepares for a comeback

Yes, you read it right, Justin is back. JT is returning to what he does best and that's singing. Even though he is a decent actor and what not, I believe he is best at making good music. So after six years, JT has released new material, aka the song Suit & Tie. Now, I have to say I like the music he previously made, but I am just not buying this Jay-Z collaboration. The song ain't bad, but it definitely doesn't sound like some massive comeback single that you need after you have been MIA for so long. The tune sounds outdated, the beat is kinda boring, and the song as a whole sounds more like some b-side or maybe a promotional single. Definitely not a comeback single. Will this top charts? Hardly. Will it be a successful single? Modestly. Is Jay-Z really needed here? Nope. So, what do you think? Is the single fire or do you think JT needs more time to get it right?
P.S. Maybe Justin rushed with this single a bit because of the reveal of new Myspace?

Timberlake se vratio! Nakon sto ga sest godina nije bilo u muzickom svetu, Justin je odlucio da je vreme za povratak na scenu. Pesma koja ce mu posluziti kao kambek singl je Suit & Tie koja je uradjena u kolaboraciji sa Jay-Z-em. Iako su mi prethodne Justin-ove pesme bile dobre, ova mi definitivno ne zvuci kao bilo koji od njegovih prethodnih hitova. To naravno ne znaci uvek da je pesma losa, ali u ovom slucaju znaci bas to. Ritam pesme je dosadan, Jay-Z-ev deo je relativno nebitan u pesmi i sve kao celina ne zvuci kao nesto sto bi trebalo da najavi povratak Justin-a na scenu. Moje misljenje je da pesma nece biti neki hit, ali i da je moguce da ce uskoro Justin-ov menadzment reci da je ovo samo buzz single kako bi zainteresovali ljude za Justin-ov sledeci album. Ili je pesma tu samo kako bi sto vise doprinela tome da se prica o novom Myspace-u koji je danas lansiran? Preslusajte pesmu, pa i sami prosudite.

Destiny's Child reunite, new single out

One of the biggest and most successful girl bands has reunited after an eight year break. Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle confirmed they are releasing a new compilation album Love Songs and with it comes a new single Nuclear. While the name of the single sounds like it will be some explosive up-tempo song, the song is actually a ballad with a serious 90's feel to it. They say it is a brand new track, but in my opinion it is just some leftover track from one of their previous albums. Either way, the song is pretty smooth and it is the right one to chill to after a long day. With the news of the album and the song came news that Destiny's Child will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It is unknown if they will release any real new album soon.

Jedna od najuspesnijih devojackih grupa se ponovo okupila nakon osam godina pauze. Beyonce, Kelly i Michelle su potvrdile vest da krajem januara izdaju kompilaciju svojih najvecih ljubavnih pesama pod imenom Love Songs. Na ovoj kompilaciji ce se naci i pesma koju fanovi ranije nisu imali prilike da cuju, Nuclear. Iako ime pesme asocira na brz ritam, pesma je balada, pa se zbog toga i nalazi upravo na ovoj kompilaciji. Po mom misljenju, pesma je verovatno jedna od onih koje ranije nisu bile dovoljno dobre za album, pa je sada izbacuju cisto kako bi fanovi imali osecaj da su se devojke stvarno vratile. Nuclear ima prizvuk 90ih, ali to nikako nije losa stvar. Pesma je sta vise odlicna za opustanje. Pored ovih vesti, Destiny's Child su potvrdile i da ce nastupati na pauzi izmedju poluvremena na Super Bowl utakmici. Jos se ne zna da li ce u skorije vreme izdati neki album sa svim novim pesmama.

Ke$ha goes hippie and crazy in C'mon video

 

So it looks like we got another new video being released today, and it is for Ke$ha's second Warrior single, C'mon. The electropop song got a much lighter video then the previously released Die Young. As you remember, Die Young video was all about Ke$ha being a cult princess, while in this video she is a kitty loving hippie. Ke$ha can be seen driving the strangest van ever, chilling in a bath tub and partying with people in animal costumes. The video as a whole doesn't make much sense, but hey neither does most of Ke$ha's videos. I have to state that C'mon is not a bad song, but I don't see it becoming a huge hit. I am hoping she will release her Iggy Pop assisted song Dirty Love, just to show that she has another side to her.

Nakon the Saturdays i Ke$ha je odlucila da izda novi video danas. Drugi singl sa njenog albuma Warrior je pesma C'mon i upravo za ovu pesmu je i objavljen video. Nakon sto je u klipu za pesmu Die Young bila princeza kulta slicnog Iluminatima, u ovom videu je hipik koji voli macke. Pored toga, Ke$ha u ovom klipu uziva u djakuziju i luduje sa ljudima obucenim u kostime zivotinja. Klip kao celina nema neki smisao, ali zar to nije ono sto odlikuje vecinu Ke$ha-inih klipova? Ja cu samo reci da se nadam da ce neki od sledecih singlova biti Dirty Love (pesma napravljena u saradnji sa Iggy Pop-om) jer su mi svi Ke$ha-ini dosadasnji singlovi postali dosadno isti.
